Remove exterior packaging and labels.
Turn on my pressing in on the circular power button on rear side. Arvo will beep when powered on.
Arvo arivives with partial charge, however it is HIGHLY recommended to charge upon arrival - USB-C charging port on rear side.

Battery and Charging

Motion Sensor and Lid
Located in the center of the sensor bar. The lid opens automatically when movement is detected within 14.5 inches directly above the Sensor Bar on the front of the unit. The sensor activates regardless whenever something crosses the over it. Waving or movement is not necessary.
The lid stays open for 6.5 seconds then closes on its own. If your hand or an object is still above the sensor when the 6.5 seconds is up, the Arvo will beep rapidly until the sensor is clear. Tap the touch sensor once to enter Open Mode if you need more time or clear sensor of the obstacle.
Note: The lid will still close even with obstacle protruding from the canister and is not harmful or damaging to the mechanism.
Touch Sensor Controls
One Tap — Open Mode
Tap once to open indefinitely or keep the lid open indefinitely once already opened via the motion sensor. Tap once again to exit, the lid will close and resume automatic operation.
Two Taps — Aeration Mode
Double-tap to aerate the canister. The lid closes and air is pushed out from the base, pulling the liner down so it sits flat against the walls and base. Use this after installing a new Pod or if the liner looks loose, out of place, or uneven.
NOTE: The Arvo will not aerate if the ventilation module on the base is blocked. Avoid placing on tall fiber or shag rugs.
Press and Hold — Auto-Change Mode
Press and hold the touch sensor to begin the automated bag-change sequence. The Arvo seals the current liner (main hatch will open to seal volumes over maximum capacity), cuts it, opens for removal of sealed bag, closes with a light push or via the touch sensor, and prepares the next one, entirely on its own.
Pods & Pod Replacement
The Arvo uses Pods — compact liner (bag) cartridges containing a continuous roll of liners. Your Arvo arrives with a Pod pre-installed from the factory, ready to use straight out of the box. Six additional Pods are included. As apart of the launch.
Pods are square and fit in any orientation in which the grooves are facing upwards — do not place the pod in with the grooves facing downward and the square base visible. A replacement takes under 10 seconds.
When to replace:
The liner will simply run out mid-cycle when the Pod is empty. The Auto-Change sequence will complete as normal — once the canister is empty you will notice no new liner has dropped in. That is your signal to replace the Pod.
How to replace:
Tap touch sensor once to enter open mode
Lift the square lock-ring
Remove the used Pod
Drop in the new Pod
Press the lock-ring down until flush
Double-tap the touch sensor to aerate and seat the new liner
That's it — the Arvo is ready for the next cycle.
Note: Only use Arvo Pods. Generic bags are not compatible with the automated sealing and cutting system and will disrupt the Auto-Change process.
Warranty and Support
Manufacturer's Warranty
Every Arvo comes with a 30-day manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery. This covers any functional defects or failures that occur under normal use conditions.
If you purchased the Extended Warranty at checkout, your coverage extends 1–2 years from your delivery date depending on the plan selected. Available for purchase until date of delivery. Extended warranty coverage includes:
Functional defects and mechanical failures
One accidental damage incident per coverage period (subject to approval)
The following are not covered under any warranty:
Damage caused by misuse or negligence
Cosmetic damage that does not affect function (scratches, scuffs, discoloration)
Damage resulting from failure to follow operating instructions
Tampering with internal components including the Pod mechanism or Sealing Module
Water damage from submersion
How to make a claim:
If your Arvo is not functioning as expected and you believe it falls within your warranty coverage, reach out to our support team with your order number and a brief description of the issue. We will assess and respond promptly.
When reaching out, please have your order number ready. This allows us to locate your purchase, verify your warranty status, and resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
Warnings and Disclaimers
Heat Sealer
The heat-sealing strip reaches extremely high temperatures during the Auto-Change sequence. Do not insert hands or objects into the Sealing Hatch at any point during operation. If the hatch is open during sealing you may see the strip illuminate — do not touch it. Wait until the full sequence is complete before handling anything inside the unit.
Children
Keep children away from the Arvo during the Auto-Change sequence. The heat sealer activates automatically and without warning once the sequence begins.
Pods
Do not open, unroll, or tamper with the Pod. Each Pod is factory-packed under tension. Tampering will disrupt the liner alignment and can permanently affect the pods usability and/or the Auto-Change process.
Water & Submersion
Do not submerge the Arvo in water. Do not spray cleaning products directly into the Sensor Bar or Sealing Module at risk of damaging .components. Use a microfiber cloth or wipe preferably for cleaning.
Odor After Sealing
A slight rubber smell immediately after the heat sealer activates is normal. It is not a sign of damage or malfunction and will dissipate moments after completion.
Placement
The Arvo works best on traditional flooring (hardwood , tile, carpet, etc.) tall fiber or shag rugs may interfere with the aeration function if the fiber prevent hair from escaping through the base. The ventilation module on the base requires slight clearance in order to function. Blocking it will prevent aeration from working correctly.
Trouble Shooting
Arvo not responding or behaving unexpectedly
Power the unit off using the rear button — the button will extend out slightly when off. Wait 3 seconds then power back on — the button pushes in and you will hear a single beep confirming it is on. This resolves the majority of sensor and software issues.
Unit will not power on
The battery is likely depleted. Connect the USB-C cable and charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again. If the unit still does not respond after charging, contact support.
Lid opens and closes repeatedly while charging
This indicates an unstable power source. Unplug and try a different wall outlet or power strip.
Auto-Change halts mid-cycle
Clear all obstructions from cinching arms
Tap the touch sensor once to clear any pending mode
Restart the unit
Run the Auto-Change sequence again
Bag not sealing cleanly
Ensure nothing is sitting inside or obstructing the Sealing Hatch area
Restart the unit
Run Auto-Change again
Minor liner misalignments are corrected automatically — a clean restart resolves most sealing issues.
Bag stuck or won't drop into the canister
Double-tap the touch sensor to run Aeration Mode. This releases liner tension and allows the bag to drop correctly.
Pod won't sit flush
Ensure the lock-ring is pressed firmly all the way down. The Pod should drop in naturally with no resistance — if it feels forced, lift it out, reposition, and try again.
Lid not triggering from motion
Ensure your hand is within 15 inches directly above the Sensor Bar. Side movement will not trigger the sensor. If the sensor still does not respond, restart the unit.
Aeration not working
Check that the ventilation module on the base of the unit is not blocked. The Arvo will not aerate on tall fiber or shag rugs. Move to a hard floor or low pile surface and double-tap again.
